Descripción completa del empleo

Product-Minded, AI-Augmented Automation

At Shokworks, we're looking for a QA Engineer who thinks beyond test cases.

This is a hybrid role for someone who combines strong QA and automation fundamentals with real product sensibility — someone who doesn't just verify that features work, but helps shape how they should work by interpreting user behavior, customer feedback, and business intent. You'll work on products actively in market, moving through alpha and beta cycles with real users, where your input directly influences what ships next.

We're also looking for someone who is genuinely fluent in the new generation of AI-augmented testing tools and workflows — not as a curiosity, but as part of how you work every day.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration) across web and mobile products, leveraging modern frameworks and AI-assisted tooling.
  • Own end-to-end quality: functional, regression, exploratory, visual, and non-functional testing.
  • Use AI-powered testing platforms and LLM-assisted workflows to accelerate test authoring, self-healing suites, visual regression, and coverage analysis.
  • Participate in alpha and beta programs — collect, structure, and interpret customer feedback, and translate it into actionable product insights.
  • Evaluate new features against business goals, UX, and acceptance criteria — not just specifications.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to define acceptance criteria, edge cases, and release readiness.
  • Contribute to product improvement decisions with a data-informed, user-centered perspective.
  • Champion quality throughout the delivery lifecycle, not just at the end of it.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in QA / QA Automation, ideally on product-driven teams (SaaS, consumer apps, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
  • Practical experience with AI-augmented testing tools such as Playwright + MCP, Applitools, Mabl, Testim, Momentic, QA Wolf, Autify, or similar — and comfort integrating LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) into test generation, maintenance, and bug triage workflows.
  • Strong API testing skills (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent) and comfort across CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Solid testing strategy fundamentals: risk-based testing, coverage trade-offs, structured exploratory testing.
  • Genuine product mindset: curious about users, comfortable challenging PRDs, able to translate raw feedback into product signals.
  • Strong written and spoken English — you'll work directly with US-based product and engineering teams.

Nice to have: experience with alpha/beta program management, customer research, product analytics, or building custom AI agents/scripts for QA automation.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote position
  • Opportunity to work on a mission-critical healthcare platform
  • Collaborative international team
  • Challenging technical environment with modern technologies
  • Career growth and continuous learning opportunities

If you're passionate about QA testing, AI and scalability, we'd love to hear from you.

Sueldo: $900,00 - $1.200,00 al mes

Pregunta(s) de postulación:

  • What is your English level for speaking, writing, reading, and listening?

Please describe your comfort level working directly with US-based product and engineering teams.

  • What is your monthly salary expectation in USD for a full-time remote contractor role?
  • Are you available to start immediately or within the next 1–2 weeks?

If not, please mention your earliest possible start date.

  • How have you used AI tools or AI-augmented workflows in QA automation?

Examples may include Playwright + MCP, Applitools, Mabl, Testim, Momentic, QA Wolf, Autify, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or custom AI scripts/agents.

  • Tell us about a time when your QA work influenced a product decision, user experience, or feature behavior.

Please explain the situation, your recommendation, and the outcome.
