JOB DESCRIPTION


Join our Product Control team and help deliver accurate financial reporting that supports informed decision-making. In this role, you will partner closely with trading desks and finance stakeholders to produce timely P&L reporting, strengthen controls, and improve processes. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a strong control mindset are essential. As a Product Control Analyst in our Finance team, you will support trading desks and financial controllers by ensuring P&L reporting, balance sheet oversight, and month-end close processes are completed accurately and on time. You will analyze financial results, investigate drivers and variances, and coordinate with key partners to resolve control and reporting issues. Your work will help maintain a strong control environment and support business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P&L information
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives
  • Coordinate with front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time
  • Support investigation and resolution of breaks and discrepancies related to P&L, balance sheet, and trade capture where applicable
  • Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control, including process improvement initiatives
  • Handle ad hoc requests and time-sensitive analysis as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, product control, financial control, or a related area
  • Experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in challenging current processes and driving improvements

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in financial services supporting trading desks or markets businesses
  • Familiarity with financial products and market-related drivers of P&L
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and data analysis automation
  • Demonstrated ability to support process improvements and strengthen controls
  • Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment
