Descripción completa del empleo

Kodland is a digital platform that connects tutors and kids from all over the world.
We are looking for a reliable person to support our team with short technical checks before trial classes.

This is not a sales role, a customer-relationship role, or a small-talk role. The job is simple and practical: quickly connect with clients before their class, check whether the basic technical and attendance requirements are met, and inform the team if the client needs to be rescheduled.

Language requirement: Fluent Italian (native or C1+) — clients are Italian speakers.

Current schedule (CET):

  • Monday: 15:30–19:00
  • Tuesday: 15:30–19:00
  • Wednesday: 15:30–19:00
  • Thursday: 17:30–19:00
  • Friday: 15:30–19:00

Current workload: around 17 hours per week. May grow to ~20+ hours/week if the process works well.

Main purpose of the role: Check clients before the start of their trial class to confirm they are technically ready and meet the basic requirements. Each check should take around 5–7 minutes — no need to build a relationship with the client, just clear technical questions and move on to the next one.

What you'll check:

  • Whether the parent is present and can stay for the whole hour (if not, inform the client that a parent is required and the class will be rescheduled by Customer Care).
  • Whether the client is connected from a PC or laptop (if using a phone/tablet, ask if they can switch; if not, the class must be rescheduled).
  • Internet speed — ask the client to run a speed test; both download and upload must be at least 10 Mbps (if lower, reschedule).
  • Basic device specs — operating system (Windows/macOS/Chromebook) and processor (if clearly below ~2.0 GHz without a suitable boost, inform the client the requirements aren't met).

How the work usually looks:

The busiest moments are around 30 minutes before each class slot, when clients are already online and waiting. Quieter in between slots, but availability is required for the full scheduled shift.

Skills:

  • Willingness to acquire new skills and improve existing ones.
  • Availability to work on weekends and/or weekdays and evenings.
  • Able to work independently.

Note: This is a remote job, so you will need a personal laptop, microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work.
