About the Role

We’re a DME company and we need a strong phone person who can make high-volume outbound calls to doctor’s offices to keep patient prescriptions renewed on a monthly basis. This is a repeat-process role: call, follow up, document, and get the renewal done—every month.

If you’re confident, friendly, persistent, and you can handle lots of calls without losing your energy, you’ll do great here.

What You’ll Do (Daily)

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to doctor’s offices and clinics
  • Request/confirm monthly prescription renewals for existing patients
  • Get past gatekeepers professionally (front desk, refill lines, medical assistants)
  • Send renewal requests via fax/email/portal based on office preference
  • Follow up consistently until the renewal is received and complete
  • Document every call outcome clearly (notes, next steps, follow-up dates)
  • Build relationships with offices so renewals get faster over time
  • Flag issues quickly (wrong contact, provider changed, office requires appointment, portal-only, etc.)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience in DME, healthcare admin, pharmacy, referrals, scheduling, or insurance
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and handling patient info
  • Experience using a CRM, EMR, spreadsheets, or ticketing systems
