ONErpm encompasses distribution, label solutions, content production, publishing, and an innovative marketing group that includes in-house advertising and influencer agencies, ONErpm has a proven track record of providing local and global support to artists and creators at any stage of their careers.
We are seeking a visionary and dedicated A&R to join our team and play a key role in the growth of our platform and the artists we represent.
As an A&R , you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and developing talent that aligns with our vision and business objectives, while fostering strong and lasting relationships with key players in the music ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Identify artists, labels, and catalogs that are potential clients for the company and align with the office's guidelines and objectives.
- Follow up with potential clients.
- Propose deals with advances that meet the office’s guidelines and objectives.
- Maintain relationships with current clients assigned to them.
- Manage the onboarding process for new clients. This includes catalog migration, adding YouTube channels to the company’s MCNs, and handing over clients to project managers.
- Ensure proper management of clients, their content, percentages, and other aspects through our CMS.
- Train clients in the effective use of our platform.
- Ensure compliance with the commercial terms stipulated in contracts, content delivery, releases, and general business conditions.
- Market digital distribution services and other offerings from ONErpm, in line with the commercial and sales guidelines provided by ONErpm.
- Represent ONErpm at events and spaces conducive to acquiring new clients and enhancing the company’s and brand’s positioning.
- Actively participate in the planning and development of ONErpm’s business initiatives, including but not limited to strategies, action plans, business plans, and feedback on processes under their responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Expert in the music industry with at least 2 years of experience in A&R, business development, and/or direct contribution to the growth of record labels, artist management companies, distributors, or other relevant segments of the music ecosystem.Strong business and financial acumen, including prior experience meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability goals.
- Proven track record of success in music business development, label/artist acquisition and relations at a distributor, and/or success in other relevant aspects of the music industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of deal economics, projections, and valuations.
- Established relationships within the ecosystem, including artists, managers, DSPs, and other partners, with a history of delivering results.
- Demonstrated skills in prospecting, relationship building, creative deal structuring, and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An open-minded leader who fosters an environment that attracts diverse ideas, artists, colleagues, and partners.
