A Viva Engage client is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to be part of their legal team!!

Requirements:

• English fluency, able to read, write and speak with complete ease and near perfection
• Ability to work in California hours and United States holidays (you will receive paid time off for U.S. Holidays but will need to work during local holidays).
• This position is work from home and requires you to have reliable high-speed internet and a reliable computer

· 2 years of experience in plaintiff litigation.

· Relevant experience in legal or office settings is a must.

The Basic Job Duties of the position are as follows:

• Court-call arrangement (online)
• Handling the entire calendaring matters (Federal and State Court)
• Summarizing deposition transcripts
• Drafting and proofreading general correspondence and court documents

This position is very busy and Legal Assistants spend a considerable amount of their day on the phones and interacting with clients. The bullet point list above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of activities and duties of the position.
