The Position
As the Director of Marketing at CIU, you will be the driving force behind the university's performance marketing efforts. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing, implementing, and overseeing data-driven marketing strategies that emphasize performance marketing across digital platforms, with a strong focus on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and other key channels. You will be tasked with optimizing campaigns to drive measurable results, including increased enrollment, brand visibility, and ROI. Additionally, you will manage the marketing team, oversee the marketing budget, and ensure that all initiatives are aligned with CIU's mission and strategic goals. Expertise in performance marketing, leadership, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and execute strategic performance marketing plans with a primary focus on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and other key digital platforms.
- Optimize paid search, social media advertising, and display advertising campaigns to achieve measurable outcomes such as increased enrollment, lead generation, and ROI.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of targeted, conversion-focused content for digital marketing channels.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies and maximize effectiveness.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources towards performance-driven marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute cohesive performance marketing strategies that align with CIU's overall objectives.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent branding and a strong online presence across all digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with digital marketing vendors and platforms to optimize campaign performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
The minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in performance marketing, with a strong track record in managing Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and other key digital platforms.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including analytics and performance tracking software.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
