The role:
The Level III Technician’s role is to ensure system operation and functionality so that end users can accomplish business tasks. The Level III Technician will serve as the final point of escalation to resolve complex technical issues including, if necessary, making recommendations to clients to leverage technology to replace outdated or problematic systems.
Level III Technicians are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments, executive levels, and clients daily.
The Level III Technician works jointly with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site surveys, proposals, and presentations on technical assessments, implementations, and ongoing technical account management. The selected candidate will be results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.

  • Configure install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, switches, etc.
  • Coordinate over the phone and in writing with management staff to provide excellent client service.
  • Troubleshoot network configurations involving firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, site-to-site VPN, MPLS, and SDWAN.
  • Reliably and efficiently manage and execute projects from initial quoting through completion.
  • Resolve escalations and assist Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with various tasks, as needed.
  • Work efficiently and assertively with software vendors to achieve solutions and take initiative when following up.
  • Provisioning and system setup for new hires.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
  • Installing and configuring software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
  • Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensuring company safety and security standards are met.
  • Some network and server solution design and architecture.
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 7 years equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Managed Service Provider experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019, and Mac OS.
  • Office 365 and Azure administration experience.
  • Some knowledge and understating of networking devices and appliances.
  • CCNA and/or MCSE preferred.
  • Achieved a minimum of three vendor-specific certifications.
