PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

Midmarket, Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) and Digital Hub are strategic and important businesses within SAP. This role is part of the Midmarket/ PES BAC Sales team supporting the Regions, striving to provide senior management with high value business partnerships and financial insights.

The Midmarket/PES NA Region Controller is part of a team that provides financial business partnering to the Midmarket, PES and Digital Hub North America Region leadership teams. Collaboration and teamwork with the Midmarket/PES BAC Sales team, Global Midmarket/PES Finance and BAC MU / LoB controllers will be important success factors.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Business Partner to the Midmarket / PES / Digital Hub NA leadership teams
  • Proactively lead financial activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis and financial close to ensure optimal financial performance
  • Prepare and present financial information to provide insight and foresight for senior management toward their business goals
  • Support business transformation and change initiatives to achieve financial targets, identify risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with local MU Controllers and Global Controllers in support of Midmarket / PES / Digital Hub NA financial goals and initiatives
  • Support and lead projects to increase efficiency and simplify processes in Controlling and Midmarket / PES / Digital Hub areas
  • Engage in preparation and financial validation of strategic and operational business cases
  • Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines
  • Actively apply agile working methods & foster agile mindset
  • Posting for Buenos Aires. Candidates in other Americas based locations will be considered.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics
  • Speak/Write English fluently
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player
  • Comfortable in collaborating across organizations and with senior leaders
  • Good time management and able to work with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel. Understanding of common SAP applications (BW, ERP, Analytics for Office, SAC)
  • Location


WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Controlling (2+ years as Senior Controller)
