- Establish and manage the business development and sales department, shaping its structure and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of leads.
- Design and implement effective sales processes and best practices to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, guiding strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive customer experiences and meet market demands.
- Set and manage sales targets, monitor performance, and optimize strategies for effectiveness.
- Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of business development and sales initiatives, KPIs, and ROI.
- Implement strategies to achieve revenue growth and customer retention goals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating new sales technologies and techniques as appropriate.
