PHP Developer - Advanced English level - Engineering Department / GLOBAL COMPANY

This Remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Argentina, Costa Rica or Guatemala.

Occasional travel may be required for key meetings, conferences, or team events.

We seek a highly skilled and motivated PHP Developer (Mid/Senior Full-Stack) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building and maintaining high-quality web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications

● Build and optimize back-end systems using PHP 7/8 and Laravel 6 or higher.

● Create dynamic, interactive front-end interfaces with Vue.js 2.

● Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless and user-friendly application experiences.

● Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices in MVC architecture.

● Design and optimize MySQL databases to handle complex queries and ensure performance.

● Manage code repositories using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.

● Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the development lifecycle.

● Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to technical discussions and decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

● Proficiency in PHP 7/8, with a strong grasp of modern development practices.

● At least 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development.

● Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to complex projects.

● Expertise in Laravel 6 or higher for back-end development.

● Advanced knowledge of Vue.js 2 for front-end development.

● Solid understanding of MVC architecture and its practical implementation.

● Strong experience with MySQL, including database design and query optimization.

● Proficiency in Git version control and collaboration workflows.

●Must be English fluent, written and verbal communication skills (B2, C1, Advanced level)

SOFT SKILLS:

● Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members across different time zones via video calls, emails, and messaging platforms.

● Collaborative mindset: Willingness to work closely with team members and share knowledge to achieve common goals.

● Self-discipline and time management: Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working remotely.

● Commitment and sense of urgency: Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and responsiveness in handling assigned responsibilities.

BONUS SKILLS (HIGHLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED):

● Familiarity with UX principles and the ability to collaborate on designing user-centric applications.

Passport / American Visa up to date, or willing to apply if necessary (traveling to United Estates)

WE OFFER:

USD 1200 - 1,600 per month (as a contractor)
